Job Description
Mission(Not an external Sales role)To sustain and grow the sales of a portfolio of products and services within the relevant industry sector in the country, while contributing to the achievement of business objectives and addressing customer needs. Additionally, provide support to the Sales team in customer service and administrative tasks to ensure excellent customer service and enhance profitability within the department.Main Accountabilities
- Collaborate with the Commercial team and Business Manager to establish and meet annual sales budgets.
- Detecting opportunities, seek out, analyze and develop new accounts, promoting sales of the product portfolio in line with business growth strategies.
- Maintain and manage relationships with key contacts at all levels via telephone and online tools (no visits required)
- Negotiate prices, payment terms and volumes with customers to maximize returns to the business.
- Act as the main point of contact and offer administrative support to the sales team
- Serve as the direct point of contact for customers, providing after-sales support and follow-up assistance.
- Handling of suppliers, customers, and products creation on different ERP systems and regularly update them.
- Create purchasing requests (ARO) and secure the necessary approvals.
- Assist in creating and maintaining an accurate, up-to-date customer database for the relevant business unit by gathering and analyzing the market info (product, competitor, industry data, etc.) to enable development of the business strategy.
- Maintain close communication and follow up with the Supply Chain team on order execution.
- Closely monitor stock levels to ensure timely replenishment.
- Provide support during marketing event preparations and execution.
- Monitor and follow up on customer satisfaction.
- Prepare monthly sales reports
- Track receivables and notify the Sales team when necessary, keeping business risk to a minimum.
- Manage customer requests for samples, both locally and intercompany, and ensure timely follow-up.
- Promote the use of the Customer Portal and the e-Lab, if applicable
