Infrastructure Specialist-Cloud Application Operations

Our Infrastructure Specialists are responsible for keeping up with these latest and greatest of these changes and using their expertise to deliver solutions that meet the needs of our customers and products.

Your Role and Responsibilities
• Prepare gap analysis document and/or design a proposed DevOps adoption roadmap; use to analyze the clients’ IT environment for achieving better efficiency using DevOps methodology and tools in conventional or Cloud environments on hyperscalers like (Azure, AWS and IBM)
• Analyzes the software build and deploy requirements for a project, portfolio, or account, and defines the architecture using the necessary tools like Kubernetes, RedHat OpenShift, Terraforms, Jenkins, etc..
• Deploying, configuring and maintaining Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS (ROSA) and WebSphere Liberty.
• Deploying, configuring and maintaining Java & J2EE-based applications deployments
• Possess skills in popular DevOps automation tools, can perform installation and configuration of these tools on cloud or non-cloud infrastructure. Understands the project and application context and accordingly configures the DevOps tools, setups continuous integration for automated and continuous builds, develops build script and versioning, builds packaging and deployment on the server, and setups continuous testing. Has knowledge of software engineering processes, coding, DevOps best practices, and SDLC processes.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• +2 years of experience.
• Has Broad technical experience of Cloud infrastructure and Platform solutions along with a strong understanding of cloud architecture of hyperscalers like (Azure, AWS and IBM)
• Has deep knowledge of OpenShift and cloud platform components, as well as understanding of the architecture components, overseeing solution implementations and recommending changes based on operational issues.
• Has strong expertise in Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS (ROSA) configurations (deployment.yaml , config maps , routes etc) and WebSphere Liberty configurations.
• Has broad expertise in J2EE-based application deployments and hands-on experience of core Java.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience with build and deploy requirements for a projects using the necessary cloud platforms and DevOps tools tools like Kubernetes, RedHat OpenShift, Terraforms, Jenkins.
• Experience in writing automation using Unix Shell scripting, Nexus Repository Manager OSS.
• Experience in creation and maintenance of Source code repositories/branches such as Git.
• Experience in continuous integration tools – Jenkins/Tekton.
