Infrastructure Lead (DevOps)
Cairo Engineering / Full-time / Hybrid + Lead and mentor the infrastructure team, providing guidance, support, and professional development to ensure optimal performance.
+ Drive strategic infrastructure initiatives, aligning team efforts with organizational goals and ensuring efficient management of resources.
+ You will do a “Production”.While thousands of requests per minute are hitting our production, you will be responsible for ensuring that all systems are reliable, scalable, and efficient.
+ Collaborate with software development teams to design, implement, and manage continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
+ Automate deployment, monitoring, and management of cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
+ Work with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues. Monitor system performance and implement optimizations to ensure high availability and scalability.
+ Manage cloud resources and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to best practices.
+ Implement and maintain security best practices for infrastructure.
+ Stay up-to-date with the latest DevOps tools, technologies, and trends, and propose improvements to existing processes.
+ Document processes, configurations, and procedures for the team
Who you are!
+ 4-6 years of experience as an Infrastructure Software or DevOps Engineer.
+ Worked on high-scale heavy traffic applications.
+ Excellent knowledge of Kubernetes/Docker.
+ Strong Unix or Linux background, including topics around network stack and scripting.
+ Strong knowledge of scripting languages (Python / Bash).
+ Experience with Cloud Infrastructure (GCP preferred).
+ Experience analyzing and resolving performance, scalability, and reliability issues.
