You as a HSE Manager PGHV will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in New Cairo, Egypt. You will be keeping our people safe and environmentally responsible as we grow and sustain the businesses in the country through good HSE and ESG processes and practices. Your responsibilities Managing legal requirements of HSE and comply on regular basis and supporting businesses in meeting the HSE KPIs. Weekly calling with all the operation leads to ensure compliance and preparing the business in line with Hitachi Energy Management system requirements. Leading the mandatory training program in the business and reviewing ABRA and LSR Compliance and take actions and follow-up with team to close gaps on time. Performing safety observation tours, safety audits and inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety regulation compliance. Managing all required documentation, operational checks and reports for the HSE and Quality Management System to be compliant with ISO standards. Coordinating and participating in the investigation of incidents and near-misses Reviewing and analyzing past incidents and make action to learn from incidents Preparing and timely submitting all MIS & reports and sharing best practices across all units to grow the knowledge and competence of the teams. Managing the Legal documents and report like monthly, annual environment monitoring and preparing the Manifest for all hazardous materials disposal. Participating and support in Energy Management Programs and Energy Management Audits and good knowledge of Egyptian legal requirements related to HSE and to be covered absolutely in full compliance. Your background A bachelor’s degree in relevant field is required. Minimum 5-8 years of experience in field of QHSE. NEBOSH IGC Certified is required. Recognized certificate in HSE. In-depth knowledge of ISO standards. Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
