Job Description

Personal Attributes:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR or Business Administration, Master’s Degree is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HR with minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Chartered member of CIPD / SHRM or equivalent HR certification  
  • Bilingual - Arabic and English

Primary Job Purpose:


  • Act as conduit between HoDs/Managers in allocated client areas on all HR related matters
  • Provide guidance and advice to HoDs/Managers on policy-related matters and people management best practices to ensure all employees are treated in accordance with company policy
  • Build and maintain trust and credibility with ATCO’s management team by responding to all HR related matters in a timely and professional manner
  • Support HoDs/Managers in the development of manpower plans and budgets 
  • Support HoDs/Managers in the development of job descriptions for the allocated client area
  • Meet regularly with managers from the allocated client area to understand all HR/people-related needs, work closely with the HR team to deliver on specific requirements and ensure the client area is kept updated on the status of all requests
  • Provide support across allocated client areas in the implementation of all HR processes e.g., recruitment and selection of candidates, succession planning, training needs analysis etc., ensuring allocated business areas comply with the relevant policies, procedures, and timelines
  • Liaise with HoDs/Managers to identify training needs for the allocated offices 
  • Assist HoDs/Managers in setting the KPIs/objectives for their team(s)
  • Guide HoDs/Managers through the annual performance management process and follow up with managers in the allocated client area to ensure the performance management framework is rolled out effectively in line with the annual timetable
  • Identify HiPo employees, facilitate promotions and support the implementation of ATCO’s succession plan 
  • Assist and support managers in allocated client areas with any disciplinary and/or grievance cases to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Support culture and engagement activities
  • Conduct exit interviews, analyse findings to understand trends, and make recommendations to enhance retention of talented employees
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments in HR to ensure ATCO always maintains a best-practice approach
