We are looking for an experienced HR Manager based in Cairo, Egypt to work closely with the Business leaders, HR team, HR COEs and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and executing our people strategy, and will be accountable for the delivery of HR objectives and processes which are fully aligned with overall business division’s strategy and company-wide policy.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Act as a single point of contact and local representative for all HR COEs- Recruitment, L&TD, HR Operations, Rewards and HR Partnering


  • Act as a trusted advisor, optimizing leadership team effectiveness by influencing and evolving people strategies thereby enabling effective business decisions.


  • Identify retention needs and implement relevant interventions for employee retention and provide strategic partnership and advise to leaders on relevant solutions to increase employee engagement.


  • Collaborate with COEs in designing, implementing, and executing HR projects for the organization and relative change management initiatives at the location.


  • Drive people and merit process and people interventions including progressions, promotions, bonus, salary corrections and facilitate all the cyclical people processes for the location.


  • Manage HR objectives of the location and plan with HR Advisors to enable effective alignment in compliance with HR Policies and uniformity in delivering people processes and introducing interventions, exceptions and appropriately resolve HR cases basis business request.


  • Assure compliance, governance, and the adherence of HR policies and procedures at the location.


  • Support and coach managers in people management relating to employee engagement, feedback, action planning and HR Systems


  • Review and advise on complex cases / sensitive issues (employee grievances, disciplinary issues etc.,) as required and manage potential risk and ensure timely resolution.


  • Facilitate employee engagement trends through VOX survey results and support business and VOX ambassadors drive implementation of action plans basis survey results.


  • As per the policy, assist with approvals on candidate COI declarations, new hires compensation and any flagged cases from hiring checks.


  • Manage Top Talent to build organizational capability and reinforce company values in collaboration with Strategic Talent Management team and Business leaders.


  • Ensure recruitment as per manpower plan and budget is closed within timelines.


  • Act as a liaison between corporate and location management and ensure free flow of communication between the locations.


  • Organise and manage employee engagement by supporting, driving local community, social & engagement initiatives.


  • Organising and conducting townhalls, open house etc for employees with the leadership team 


Requirements:


  • Member of a professional institution


  • Degree in relevant discipline


  • Previous experience within similar industry and/or international company within HR role


  • International/GCC HR experience


  • Must be professional, self-motivated, flexible, friendly and energetic


  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, complemented by maturity, strong leadership skills and business acumen


  • Able to work within a team and demonstrate collaborative behaviours


  • Proven ability to deal with sensitive issues with compassion and discretion


  • Self-confident, creative and proactive, able to prioritize and make effective decisions


  • Disciplined and highly organized


  • Possess and maintain current Egypt Labour Law knowledge and understanding


  • Strong association with local HR networks to understand and bring in best practices
