HR Business Partners Manager
Job Description
Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and creation of strategic people plans for the allocated business areas to enable the delivery and implementation of business strategy. Own and drive the implementation of the HR strategic initiatives, and cyclical HR initiative, to enable the business to deliver their people plans across the business areas of accountability. Develop people management practices to influence the business strategy and enabling AXA to become the preferred company. Plans and carries out polices relating to all human resources activities. Work with the ExCom, business leaders, and senior managers, whose teams provide critical strategic growth for AXA Business. Provide insightful analysis of management information to enable effective people, cost and risk management. Lead transversal HR projects and initiatives and ensuring successful embedding of contract services of the HR Centres of Excellence to deliver for the business. Lead succession planning and organizational talent review process and ensure achievable talent plans are in place to create a pipeline of talent and sustainable organizational capability across AXA Egypt. Lead on change management, coaching business leaders on its effective implementation and strategies for successful change and development. Use business insight to identify areas for continuous improvement ensuring that any initiatives are successfully embedded in the business. Drive a culture of business ownership and accountability for people management practices to ensure HR policy, systems and procedures are embedded in order to enable a high performance culture. Role model the HR Business Partner model, championing AXA’s values and behaviours, and demonstrating competence against the AXA HRBP competency framework. Demonstrate a positive and “can do” mind set. Coach and influence senior leaders in order to enhance or change culture to ensure that AXA Egypt is a preferred employer and is successful in its strategic growth, attracting, retaining and developing our key people. Manage HR Transformation of AXA Egypt to include structural changes, process improvement programs. Manage a team of HR business partners and responsible on their objectives and development. Perform all other duties as assigned by manager.
Skills
Business Knowledge/Technical Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field. Minimum of 10 years of experience. Flexibility to travel between regions. Commercial and financial awareness (e.g. understanding of the external market, company performance, market intelligence, business drivers) Business acumen – understanding how the business operates and being able to talk the “business language” Ability to coach senior managers including the ability to manage difficult discussions Consultancy skills Ability to think and act strategically Able to apply project management methodology
