Job Description
Main Duties:
- Lead and inspire a team of department heads to deliver outstanding service and maintain high operational standards
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue, occupancy rates, and guest satisfaction
- Oversee financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and effectively
- Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to develop and implement promotional strategies
- Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
- Implement and monitor quality management systems to achieve and exceed industry standards
- Identify training needs and coordinate with HR to develop and execute learning programs
- Stay informed about industry trends and implement innovative practices to maintain a competitive edge
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize operational efficiency
- Analyze performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to improve hotel operations
Qualifications
- Master's Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field
- 10-15 years of experience in 4-5 star hotel management, with a proven track record of success
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Advanced problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Proficiency in financial management and budgeting
- In-depth knowledge of hotel operations, standards, and best practices
- Expertise in revenue management and yield optimization
- Proficiency in hotel management software and systems
- Fluency in Arabic and English; additional languages are a plus
- Experience in crisis management and ability to handle high-pressure situations
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data for strategic decision-making
- Adaptability and willingness to embrace change in a dynamic industry
