Apply now for the position of Healthcare Consultation Solutions Manager - Laboratory Diagnostics, Based in Cairo, Egypt. This person will be responsible to promote Siemens Healthineers’ Automation & Diagnostics IT concept for the clinical laboratories, by make a detailed workflow analysis, design the best-fit solution in and engagement during the implementation plan and post implementation follow-up.
Your role:
- Provide on-site, data-driven, customized consultative services to Siemens Healthineers customers
- Operational assessments and offering practical solutions using a broad array of best demonstrated practices and tools.
- Promote Siemens Automation and Diagnostics IT solutions where applicable to our customers during the pre-sales phase.
- Align with the Automation & Diagnostics IT Business/Marketing Management in the Zone and in Egypt on the sales opportunities and setting the priorities as per business needs.
- Assess the current customer situation, collect information as LIS data, workload, lab resources, instruments, test menu, etc. to be used by different simulation tools provided by HCS global team that enables analysis and creation of the optimal solution to the targeted customer.
- Monitor and develop VSM ,5S’s and Spaghetti diagram to analyze and measure the current process inside the lab and define either the best practices or waste factors.
- Improve the overall lab workflow using SIX Sigma and Lean Concept to improve the efficiency and minimize the waste.
- Design a new TLA layout using ideally CAD/Visio drawing and 3D layouts that match the customer KPI’s and promote that solution via customer meetings and presentation in order deliver the highest value to our customers and to differentiate from competition to increase win rate.
- As an HCS, you will be engaged in customer pre-sales meetings, presentations, and regional events to promote Siemens Automation and Diagnostics IT solutions to the current or potential customers.
- Create a post-Implementation activity that enables Siemens solution lifecycle by producing a periodic Healthchecks and feedback to make a continuous improvement for Siemens solution to increase Siemens’ customer satisfaction.
- Engage during transition management phase to assist of applying change management with new/existing siemens customers.
- Align with project management during the implementation planning of Siemens TLA to facilitate the implementation process according to a predefined time schedule.
Your expertise and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, Biochemistry, or similar major.
- Solid experience with software skills (AutoCAD, MS Office Tools, Visio) and IT primary concepts
- Previous experience in Healthcare Consultation Solutions in one of the global IVD companies is a plus.
- Previous experience in Lab automation projects implementation
- Robust understanding of the laboratory workflow process and validation of laboratory software.
- Excellent communication skills, to work with laboratory personnel, IT and validation personnel and other key roles effectively and efficiently.
- Ability to solve practical problems with a logical and reasoned approach and utilize Standard Practices and approaches in solving these problems as far as the deployment projects allow.
- Able to understand customers’ data and SOPs to best build optimized workflows.
- Project management skills and Lean, Six Sigma experience is a plus.
- Good understanding of the accreditation processes of the laboratory platform.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Required skills:
- Maintain a solid understanding of the trends in the automation space.
- Ability to customize the best solution based on customer needs and KPI’s.
- Capable of establishing strong long-lasting relationships with laboratory managers and KOLs.
- Ability to use Business and competitive intelligence to improve the quality of decision making.
- High presentation skills to present lab analysis and solutions promoted in a creative way.
- Have a sense of sales orientation and love to act in a teamwork.
