An exciting opportunity has become available as Group Operations Director with this luxury hotel
& resort group on the cusp on their next expansion into Egypt & new markets. As Group Operations
Director you’ll oversee directing hotel operations at a Group level, developing & implementing
strategies & services which meet or exceed the needs of owners, employees and guests.
Key Areas:
• Work In conjunction with the Chief Financial Officer & MD, ensuring annual budgets are aligned to the Group's overall financial plan.
• Ensure that all operational departments are maximising revenue and profit potential, whilst minimising expenditure.
• Ensure that operational expenses adhere to budget guidelines.
• Leverage resources to incorporate best practice and deliver exceptional guest service on a cost-effective basis.
• Coordinate with property General Managers in all facets of their hotel's operations.
• Be knowledgeable on brand standards.
• Full HR compliance/policies/procedures, adhering to local, state and federal laws are adhered.
• Perform regular property inspections to ensure that assets are in good physical appearance, meet brand standards and are compliant with local requirements.
• Oversee selection and performance of vendor services, including preparation of requests for proposal and service agreements; monitor vendor performance against service level agreements.
• Ensure compliance with all licensure requirements for each property.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• A bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Hospitality or related fields
• Strong leadership skills, able to lead change, mentor and motivate individuals
• Great track record of hiring and growing sales teams and ability to do so with speed
• Hands-on experience strategizing and negotiating
• Excellent collaboration and conflict management skills
