Raya Foods; one of Raya's subsidiaries, is hiring a General Accountant.
What will you do:
Perform month-end account closing activities and reconciliations
Assist and or reconcile bank statements as needed.
Assist various departments in accounting issues and queries.
Support Auditor in conducting internal and external audits.
Assist in tax preparation and filing activities.
Reconcile general ledger accounts
Follow documentation retention policy to maintain accounting files.
Process vendor invoices and payment, following internal corporate guidelines and procedures
Ensure an accurate and timely month end close by preparing various journal entries and account reconciliations for prepaid, accrual, inter-company, fixed asset.

Experience with MS Office and data programs.
Typing speed and accuracy.
Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation.
Attention to detail.
Preferred knowledge of Oracle system ERP.
Education Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or any related discipline.
