Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Financial Director responsible for overseeing the financial health and strategic direction of the organization. This position involves managing the finance team, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and driving financial performance to support the company's objectives. The Financial Director works closely with the executive team to develop long-term financial strategies, optimize resources, and deliver value to stakeholders. In this full-time, onsite role, you will lead the development and execution of the company’s financial strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and growth plans. You will oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Provide financial analysis on performance trends, profitability, and areas for cost optimization or investment. Manage financial risk, ensuring the business is compliant with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards (including lending and consumer finance regulations). Your expertise will be crucial in driving financial performance and providing strategic insights to the executive team. You will also be responsible for managing relationships with external stakeholders, including banks and investors. As a key member of the leadership team, you will contribute to the overall strategic direction of the company. You will manage financial risk, ensuring the business is compliant with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards (including lending and consumer finance regulations). You will Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure lending practices and operations comply with both local and international regulations. Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. You will oversee the recruitment and training of financial talent as needed to support the company’s scaling efforts. You will Develop the financial forecasted model for the company and budget. Requirements A minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in NBFIs is a must. o Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CFA preferred), MBA is a plus, DipIFR. Experience in Consumer Finance and Microfinance is a plus. Proven track record in developing and executing financial strategies that support business growth. Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards in Egypt. Experience with complex financial modeling, cash flow management, and fundraising (equity and debt). Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders. Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems, financial modeling software). o Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
