Job Description

Job Title: Financial Analyst - Cairo


Introduction to role


Are you ready to make a significant impact in the world of finance? As a Financial Analyst at AstraZeneca in Cairo, you will provide essential financial reporting. Your role will involve conducting financial analysis, and performing cost center analysis. You will also engage in data modeling and analysis activities, providing critical interpretations that inform policy decisions. Additionally, you will implement company policies and develop appropriate procedures to ensure smooth operations.


Accountabilities


- Prepare and review performance management reporting along with insightful commentary where applicable


- Work on data collection and ad-hoc analysis to support decision making


- Act as a first point of contact for business cases assessment


- Own delivery for designated tasks and operate independently to interpret, diagnose, and resolve identified problems, escalating only complex issues for resolution


- Assist line managers to understand, interpret and apply finance policies, providing the day-to-day support in the execution of Finance delivery in own specialist area


- Work within defined guidelines and policies, applying judgement to their application


- Identify issues with current processes and provide input on proposed changes to enhance effectiveness of Finance delivery


Essential Skills/Experience


- 2 years of experience as minimum


- Experience of operating in application of the specialist area


- Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team


- Thorough understanding of functional cost drivers


Desirable Skills/Experience


- Studying for a professional qualification (Preferable)


- Advanced excel & SAP User (Preferable)
