What's in it for you

ROLE PURPOSE: To ensure the administrative procedures as regards financial flows are implemented under


proper control and in accordance with applicable accounting standards, and ensure that high quality management


information is provided promptly.


Planning Ø Prepare and propose for approval the strategic plan for the area and regularly monitor the activities covered by it, in order to ensure that it is fulfilled. § Projects Management Ø Manage of cross-functions projects such as IFRS accounting, to ensure that they are implemented in accordance with established objectives and timescale. Define and monitor quality procedures for the Financial Accounting Area, and research and implement new procedures, so as to increase the efficiency of the area of responsibility. § Quality Ø Define and monitor quality procedures, and research and implement new procedures, so as to increase the efficiency of the area of responsibility. § Human Resources Ø Select, manage, train and motivate the staff so as to achieve increase in motivation, productivity through related, measurable, and challenging but achievable KPIs.


Non-financial (customers/staff etc)


External Customers: - External Auditors. - Vodafone Group


- Vodafone OPCOs - External vendors - External customers Internal Customers: - All finance departments


Technical / Professional Expertise


· Qualified Accountant holding an appropriate professional qualification (Accounting Studies degree or similar) with several years experience for reporting on or responsible for financial accounting environments. · CMA, CPA or IFRS is an asset · Audit firm experience is an asset


· At least 8 years in financial accounting & reporting field. Strong knowledge of IFRS and Egyptian accounting standards theory & practice.


· Experience in managing complex projects and assignments. · Able to communicate effectively in both oral and written work and committed to insuring appropriate deadlines are met. · Financial accounting & analysis measures. · Problem solving. · Strategic focus. · Ability to work under high pressure.
