Job Description You will ensure the timely preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local accounting standards. You will oversee the financial reporting process and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. You will manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. You will lead a team of finance professionals and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the department. You will ensure compliance with all regulatory reporting obligations including capital, risk, and liquidity reporting. You will liase with regulators and external auditors as needed to ensure transparency and compliance with financial regulations. Collaboration with other departments will be essential to drive financial performance and operational efficiency. You will Oversee and improve financial systems and processes, including accounting software, reporting tools, and workflow automation. You will provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to support business decision-making, including capital allocation, financial performance analysis, and risk assessments. Requirements A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 5 years in a managerial position. Experience in NBFIs is a must. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certification (CPA, CMA) is preferred. Experience in Consumer Finance and Microfinance is a plus. In-depth knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards is essential. Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing finance team. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel. Strong knowledge of accounting systems, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance specific to the lending industry.
