Summary: VES is looking for a Field Sales Representative to join our team in Cairo, Egypt location. This person will be responsible for Travelling throughout assigned territory to make sales calls on customers & agents working in the area. Ensures that customer expectations are met or exceeded. Follows company safety policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned.

• Prepares quotes for potential orders. Uses guidelines for pricing, discounts, national contracts, agreements, or special pricing and an understanding of cost and profit to make decisions.      
• Identifies customer requirements and provides sound product recommendations. Gives technical advice, service, and support for customer well requirements. Demonstrates products as appropriate. Solicits and delivers orders.
• Answers inquiries from customers regarding service, deliveries, and invoicing.  Resolves customer issues promptly.  Follows up with customers on past due receivables if required.  
• Prepares documentation and system transactions relating to sales such as quotes, sales orders, consigned orders, shipments, billing, and inventory availability.
• Prepares monthly sales, inventory, and expense reporting. Supports sales colleagues.

Education and/or Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent education.
• Typically, at least two years of sales experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
• Experience with an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record with ability to maintain an acceptable driving record in line with company requirements.
• Knowledge of the drilling industry, trends, and general business and financial acumen.
• Knowledge of general office and sales practices and procedures.
• Knowledge of drilling equipment used in assigned territory.
• Knowledge of customer operations in assigned territory preferred.
• Understanding of business terms such as market complexity, gross margin, pricing, supply and demand, and their relationship to the success of profit generation.
• Ability to demonstrate a track record of customer service, negotiation, and problem resolution skills.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Ability to comprehend and communicate accurately, clearly, and concisely in English & Egyptian.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook.
