About the Role:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Facility Coordinator to join our fast-growing team, helping to transform the way people sell and buy used cars in the Region. You will have day-to-day responsibility for managing Sylndr’s warehouse safely, effectively, and efficiently manage all warehouse operations. And ensuring adherence to Sylndr’s health and safety policies.
+ Arrange for regular maintenance of equipment and internal systems (e.g. plumbing, HVAC, alarms, Electrical panels)
+ Check overall facilities to identify needs for repairs or renovations
+ Restock office and kitchen supplies
+ Design and oversee the schedule for cleaning and disinfecting the building
+ Monitor activities that happen outside the building, such as proper waste disposal and recycling
+ Fix minor malfunctions in office equipment
+ Keep track of regular and ad-hoc facility expenses
+ Conduct market research and compare costs and benefits when evaluating vendors and quotations for either maintenance or new projects.
+ Maintain an updated record of invoices from external partners (e.g. suppliers, Housekeeping)
+ Research new services and appliances to facilitate operations
+ Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
+ Participate in the development of long-term plans for facility maintenance, upgrades, and improvements, including budget development and management.
+ Provide regular reports on facility operations, expenses, and projects to management.
Who you are
+ Bachelor’s degree in facilities management or related field
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities management or related field
+ Experience working with vendors and contractors.
+ Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety protocols
+ Good in Microsoft Office
+ Familiarity with office equipment and security systems and understanding of safety regulations in offices
+ Very good verbal and written communication skills
