You lead new business opportunities in right store opportunities in white space retail environments. You use your deep understanding of our categories and brands to sell to new customers and to expand current customers’ portfolios. In this role, you develop promotional pricing structures to fit with customer needs.


How you will contribute


You will:


  • Responsible for developing and successfully implementing the commercial plan strengthen and expand Mondelēz International’s position with and assigned customer by preparing, negotiating and executing the business plans
  • Responsible for the coordination between the customer and Mondelēz International internal functions
  • Accountable for maintaining and developing strategic growth plans for customers with a focus on portfolio management, listings, distribution and effective promotion and visibility
  • Build and develop strong category partnerships
  • Manage pricing within the Gross to Net Framework, Assortment management, Forecast accuracy in conjunction with supply chain function
  • Together with cross functional colleagues evaluate, plan & execute appropriate promotional and in store visibility
  • Monitor, analyze and report on market developments and competitor developments

What you need to know about this position:


  • Maintain promotional database by inputting invoice and bill-back data.
  • Update managers by consolidating, analyzing, and forwarding daily action summaries.
  • Resolve order and inventory problems by investigating data and history; identifying alternate means for filling orders; notifying managers and customers.
  • Resolve promotional allowance, rebate, and pricing discrepancies by researching promotion details and regular and special prices; forwarding resolution to managers.
  • Provide sales vs. projection results by preparing and forwarding sales tracking reports.
  • Forward samples by entering request; arranging shipment; notifying customer.
  • Maintain customer database by inputting customer profile and updates; preparing and distributing monthly reports.
  • Prepare sales presentations by compiling data; developing presentation formats and materials.
  • Track sales expenses by tracking, consolidating, analyzing, and summarizing expenses; forwarding for reimbursement.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
  • Conduct surveys and market research to study and analyze the changing needs of the customers
  • Develop plans and strategies by coordinating with the managers to achieve the sales target
  • Ensure that the products are made available to suit the needs of the customer and by adhering to the sales processes designed to improve the sales
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments in the market by studying the competitor's strategies and products, so that the possible threats can be identified and counter attack strategies can be designed
  • Maintain trustworthy professional relationship with the existing as well as the prospective clients
  • Select, analyze and validate the vendors requirements and maintain and update the database related to it
