THE JOB :
An Executive Meetings Manager is the key point of contact for smaller convention groups. This position is responsible for obtaining rooming lists, transportation, meeting room coordination and coordinating with billing and credit. The goal is to create a great experience for our convention attendees. You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest’s experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:



Work independently and without supervision to ensure that all program requirements and client requests are met to the highest standards Collaborate directly with clients and internal departments to coordinate various functions, including transportation, guest accommodations, meetings, pre-planning, limousine services, amenities, site inspections, billing, Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), and room diagrams Serve as the primary communication link between clients and all property departments, both during the pre-planning phase and on-site Build and maintain strong working relationships with all support departments to guarantee a successful event for our customers Take accountability for the overall success of multiple conventions simultaneously Perform other job-related duties as assigned

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:



Three (3) years of experience in Hospitality, Event Planning, Food and Beverage, and/or Hotel Operations High school diploma, GED or educational equivalent, Bachelor’s preferred Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays Proficiency in fundamental mathematical skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and money handling Knowledgeable of Front Desk and/or Convention Reservations procedures Ability to read and write proficiently to evaluate reports, correspondence and statistical information Experience with Microsoft Suite, Opera, Amadaus, and Delphi Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively, both verbally and written, with all stakeholders
