Job Description

We are looking for an ETL Data Analyst/Specialist to join our Data Services team at Siemens Brightly. In this role, you will contribute to the team’s mission of delivering robust data migration and integration solutions. Using cutting-edge tools and platforms developed in-house, you will efficiently execute data transformation tasks, address technical requests, and support client implementations.


This position is ideal for early-career professionals with a strong technical foundation and a desire to grow in a professional services environment. It offers clear pathways to advance into customer-facing technical consulting roles or progress within the ETL engineering team.


Responsibilities:
  • Execute data migration tasks using ETL tools like AWS Glue jobs and in-application import/export utilities.
  • Collaborate with project managers and consultants to resolve technical data requirements and support project goals.
  • Operate, maintain, and optimize ETL platforms and application tools to meet project specifications.
  • Work alongside customer-facing teams to address data needs during software implementation and onboarding.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of workflows, troubleshooting processes, and operational guidelines.
  • Continuously enhance expertise in data engineering and related tools to enable career progression.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Relevant experience in a technical role, preferably in professional services, consulting, or data engineering.
  • Proficiency in SQL.
  • Familiarity with database systems such as Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Skills:
  • Strong understanding of business and technical workflows, with a focus on process improvement.
  • Proficiency in managing ticketing systems and ensuring timely issue resolution.
  • Experience with AWS tools for data migration, including AWS Glue and Lambda.
  • Ability to develop knowledge management systems, templates, and reporting metrics.
  • Proven ability to work across teams and bridge communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
