Job Description
Project initiation:
- Inputs receipt (FOA)
- Inputs review with preparation team
- Feasibilities review with preparation and feasibility teams
- Schedule building
- Work sessions with preparation team
- Equipment need description
- Inventory milestone in the plant
Needs description and book of specifications:
- Request to preparation team to provide functional requirements
- Write equipment specifications
- Integrate other departments (automation, conveying, facilities…) requirements and books of specifications.
- Achieve book of specification for RFQ
- Have book of specification approved by all departments.
Budget, RFQ and order:
- Identify suppliers with purchasing team
- Identify accredited companies for safety checks with purchasing team
- Prepare RFQ to send BoS to suppliers
- Explain request to suppliers
- Analyse suppliers offers
- Get consistent offers from suppliers
- Write Technical and Economical Comparative (TEC)
- Attend to supplier choice
- Write BoS for order
- Prepare Purchase Request file
Studies and equipment building :
- Schedule and manage kick-off meeting with supplier
- Inventory milestone with suppliers
- Follow-up supplier’s studies and progress
- Realize technical reviews
- Manage studies interfaces between supplier and clients' departments to complete:
- Functional analysis
- FMEA
- Bill of material
- PCM
- Risk Analysis
- Trials procedures
- Manage discrepancies (MERLIN tool)
- Realize end of studies milestone
- Initiate and follow-up spare parts codifcation
- Follow-up equipment manufacturing and tests at supplier
- Realize supplier acceptance milestone
Commissioning:
- Schedule equipment ramp-up with supplier and production
- Schedule supplier support (including night and week-end shifts)
- Ensure test compliance to test program
- Realize technical review
- Follow-up equipment tests, capability and robustness
- Follow-up equipment fine tuning
- Manage training for maintenance and production teams
- Follow-up discrepancies progress (MERLIN tool)
- Follow-up documentation release
- Validation and codification of the spare parts
- Realize maintenance acceptance milestone
Final acceptance:
- Schedule suppliers' activities and support to production
- Follow-up discrepancies progress (MERLIN tool)
- Ensure performance achievement
- Realize performance acceptance milestone
- Ensure complete equipment documentation release
- Check technical documentation consistency with partner department
- Realize final acceptance milestone
- Write project feedback
- Close project in all systems

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent experience.
Extensive experience in managing complex equipment projects.
Strong knowledge of automation, mechanical systems, and project management.
Proficiency in tools like MERLIN, FMEA, and other project management tools.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
