Engineer (R&D)
Job Description
Apply company safety, health and environmental procedures and policies. Leads development of new products to meet target standards and regulations and find alternatives and improvements to the current products design aiming to improve performance and reduce costs and improve after sales and maintenance performance. Lead testing of products to validate performance and reliability and follow lab testing plan achievement based on HRE test plan to meet ISO & EGAC standards and assure testing equipment and lab qualification and its data availability and archiving. Creating and validating engineering and production BOM and validate routing on system based on data from production and operational excellence. Set and communicate specification for all materials on system and with related functions and support to get qualified suppliers for materials. Manage product specs, drawings and data document control and archiving to assure its availability, update and security. Benchmark with competitors to find strength and weakness to improve products in market.
Skills
Technical Skills
Good knowledge of R&D process. Good knowledge of AC cooling cycle and main components. Basic knowledge of Lab testing and standard.
