Electrical Automation Engineer
The Electrical and Automation Engineer is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the electrical and automation systems within the plant. This role involves ensuring the efficient operation of all electrical equipment, implementing preventive maintenance plans, and supporting new project installations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible for electrical work in Filling, Process Areas, and Utilities.
- Oversee electrical work accomplished during shifts and report accordingly.
- Implement the Preventive Maintenance Plan for all equipment in Filling, Process, and utility areas to achieve minimum downtime and maximum efficiency.
- Develop, test, and modify Filling, Process machines, and Utilities Equipment.
- Optimize Electrical Spare Parts and improve the existing spare parts matrix.
- Coordinate electrical work procedures with production, quality, warehouses, and safety departments as per each department’s requirements.
- Assist with new Electrical Projects Installations.
- Support food safety through automation modifications and creating food safety tags.
- Ensure high efficiency of safety and food safety equipment in the plant.
- Complete all duties according to applicable safety measures and published procedures.
- Lead technical discussions with Electrical technicians to reach the best solutions.
- Identify malfunctions and carry out repairs.
- Keep the workplace organized and in clean condition.
- Identify malfunctions and carry out repairs to achieve OE% Target.
- Review all spares and report any missing items.
- Work on different programming programs of machine controllers.
- Conduct daily checks of electrical devices in all plant areas.
- Possess strong knowledge in PLC & HMI.
To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role we believe you need to have:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in electrical and automation engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment (From 1-3 years of experience).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
