Job Description

JOB PURPOSE
A People Partner is a crucial point of contact for all Unilever’s line managers and employees for a better experience through key employee moments such as on-boarding; role move; time off; etc. They work with various teams within the HR network to enable a smooth end-to-end employee experience for employees' day-to-day HR needs.
People Partner is responsible for ensuring that employee policies, practices and programs are consistently applied and aligned with labor law regulations. People Partner also plays a key role for knowledge management and feeding insights into enhancing artificial intelligence of the HR technologies platforms.


WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE


  • Ensure each employee has a great experience in any of the Key Employee Moments.


  • Act as a point of contact for employees and line managers regarding queries relevant to HR systems and processes; to enable a flawless end-to-end experience for day-to-day HR needs.


  • Work closely with the HR Business Partner, Payroll, Reward, Global Mobility, People Operations and Talent Acquisition Team, and provide support and subject matter expertise to recommend appropriate action to resolve disputes.


  • Ensure that our employees and line managers experience the best we have to offer, using client-facing, customer care; problem solving, and analytical skills to ensure tasks are actioned to the highest possible standard.


  • Responsible for ensuring consistency of employee policies, practices, and programs.


  • Ensure alignment of HR policies and procedures with the Egyptian Labor Law.


  • Provide operational support and guidance on performance improvement, disciplinary, grievance, absence, redundancy processes, etc. in line with local governance and legislation; this includes case management of these examples through to conclusion.


  • Work with internal HR team to ensure policies/processes are updated.


Experiences & Qualifications


  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent. 


  • 0 to 2 years' experience (Human resources experience will be preferred)


  • Relevant experience in a People Service Role or HRBP and/or Talent Advisor within a matrix organization on People Partnership 


  • Excellent negotiation Skills with Employee/Industrial Relations is preferred.  


  • Has a genuine passion for People Needs/Partnership, Problem Solving, that drive people & business performance  


  • Strong organization skills as well as attention to detail and diligence


  • Comprehensive knowledge in Egyptian employment & Labor Law.


  • Ability to work independently and in a teamwork environment
