Today, we are recruiting for a E&M Interface Engineer to join our team in Egypt. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility. What are my responsibilities? Responsible for the interface coordination between the Civil Contractor and Siemens System (E&M) Scope at the design and construction phase in Railway Turnkey Projects. Coordinate the integration process of the E&M systems into the overall Rail System with the consortium partner (e.g. Telecoms), the involved civil companies, and consultants for the stations, wayside sections, and the depot. Coordinate all E&M-related interfaces between Siemens System scope and the involved civil companies. Interact with the Siemens project team, the Siemens Engineering team, relevant departments inside the Siemens organization (such as Commercial, legal, and Project Management), the consortium, civil companies, architect’s offices, public jurisdictions, citizen groups, and consultants whenever necessary. Ensure that the E&M interface and MEP designs with the different civil companies are harmonized to avoid individual solutions with different interface partners. Contribute to station/wayside/depot and system design-related field design changes, non-conformance reports, requests for information, and documentation. Contribute to subjects such as negotiating contract change orders. What do I need to qualify for this job? Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or any equivalent. 5 years of experience in E&M Engineering, additionally rail transportation experience in the design and construction of major transit improvement projects (stations/wayside and depots) is highly desirable. Strong knowledge in the areas of interface management. Further knowledge in MEP, Telecoms, Electrical engineering, Earthing and bonding and system knowledge of railway is desirable. Technical assessment competence for planning and executing systems design of E&M systems works for railway infrastructure. Fluency in both written and spoken English. What else do I need to know?
