This position works out of our Cairo Egypt location in the diagnostics division. In this division we’re empowering smarter medical and economic decision making to help transform the way people manage their health at all stages of life. Every day, more than 10 million tests are run on Abbott’s diagnostics instruments, providing lab results for millions of people.
The Distributor operations Executive is responsible for achieving the sales and Economic Profit (EP) targets for the assigned districts/territories and drives growth through new business acquisition, protection of base business renewals and value expansion initiatives.

What You’ll Do



Achieve sales and EP target for assigned district/s. Manage distributor and strategically drive distributor business to help distributor grow their business through, new business acquisition, value expansion initiatives and specialized support. Supports development of distributors and distributor accounts according to strategic account plan (value expansion, economic profitability). Analyze needs of distributors and bring in/coordinate support from Abbott for defined areas of demand: Laboratory Solution Design team, project managements, marketing, training service. Supports Distributors with New Product Introductions - NPI, market/opportunity assessment and launch in collaboration with Marketing. Set and monitor distributors KPl's depending on classified distributor model and associated responsibility and identify improvement opportunities for the distributor model. Review contract compliance of distributors and end customers to ensure contract lifecycle and compliance (volume, pricing, utilization, efficiency, Free of Charge). Trusted partner of distributors and their end customers (as applicable). Identify customer/ distributor training requirements, be accountable for driving improvements of distributor skills and competencies. Analyze and help distributor to optimize operational processes such as order, delivery, and billing processes. Drive standardization of processes, such as: spare parts management, inventory management, new assay applications. Prepare and participate in Distributor/ Customer Business Reviews. Provide strategic pricing support. Analyze and optimize instrument utilization. Support management of lifecycle of instruments and assays Ensure that all activities are performed in compliance with regulatory and quality system requirements. Ensure that OEC guidelines are followed and implemented.

Required Qualifications



Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Bachelors /Engineering degree in medical/ electrical/ mechanical or medical technology. MBA and PMP are a plus. Fluent in Arabic and English, additional languages are advantageous. 6+ years of experience covering Healthcare/ Medical Devices / Diagnostics commercial operations. Expert in UPA (Unified procurement Authority) Direct contract process and regulations

Preferred Qualifications



Experience with distributors management and Enablement. Familiar with CRM systems Strong value selling skills. Financial Acumen knowledge. Analytical skills. Effective communication and negotiation skills Entrepreneurial and self-guided. Teamwork/teambuilding skill.
