Job Description
As a Director with Visa Consulting and Analytics you will support Visa’s clients in expanding their payments businesses. You will also serve a multiplier to VCA teams across CEMEA region by developing and enhancing VCA methodologies, tools and expertise. Most of your work will be on topics of card business growth, card portfolio performance optimization and customer engagement.
Principal Responsibilities/Key Results Area
1. Drive VCA engagements and business development
- Identify opportunities for Consulting assignments with Visa Clients
- Develop engagement pitches and in coordination with Account Executives secure new Consulting assignments with clients
- Deliver consulting engagements, including managing the team of consultants, resolving complex strategic problems, managing teams of consultants, synthesize recommendations, preparing and delivering client presentations, managing complex project structures
- Work closely with other VISA groups, including Product, Marketing etc., to ensure seamless client Consulting experience
- Liaise with VISA functional teams (Finance, Audit, Legal, Tax, Sourcing) to define and implement processes to optimize the daily engagement of vendors and the relationships with clients
2. Develop and scale VCA offering, including:
- Leverage own experience and experience of the wider VCA and Visa team to develop and improve VCA offering
- Work closely with global experts within and outside Visa bringing in global expertise into the region and exporting CEMEA expertise
- Grow the network of partners in the region and globally and leverage them to enrich Visa offering
- Develop Visa Consulting & Analytics thought leadership material
Qualifications
- 10 or more years of solid work experience
- Consulting experience gained within either a strategy house, a Big 4 firm, or an in-house strategy function of a financial institution is a plus
- Hands on experience in managing payment and/or card business and/or loyalty with financial institution is a plus
- Experieince in managing and driving performance of geographically distributed teams is a strong plus
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with inter-disciplinary groups
- Self-motivated and able to use own initiative with limited direction
- Strong structuring and problem-solving skills.
- Credibility with clients and working teams and diplomatic skills to extract desired outcomes.
- Comfortable interacting with and presenting to senior management of clients and Visa
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
- Relationship management skills – should be able to manage internal and external stakeholders at senior levels
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Superior project management skills
- Expertise in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint to develop superb client presentations
- Results driven, flexible and both internally and externally customer focused
