Director, Product Management

We’re looking for a Director of Product Management to join Procore’s Project Management division. This role will be based in Cairo. In this role, you’ll lead a team of Product Managers developing and improving some of our most highly used products that help customers deliver their construction projects on time and under budget. This role’s primary focus will be to develop a roadmap for, and oversee, critical development initiatives being developed out of our Cairo office including improving our user experience on web and mobile and addressing top customers asks on some of our core capabilities. An overwhelming majority of our customers use Procore’s Project Management products to manage key tasks, workflows, and communications throughout the construction project lifecycle so this is an opportunity to have significant impact.

As a Director of Product, Project Management you’ll partner with our UX Design and Engineering teams to define and develop a product roadmap that helps grow Procore’s business. You will spend time synthesizing customer and market feedback and translating those needs into a roadmap that delivers customer value across our team of Cairo product managers, designers, and engineers. In addition to driving product strategy and execution, this role requires strong people management skills, including direct management of product managers, and providing mentorship and guidance across design and engineering teams. You will foster a collaborative and high-performing environment, ensuring alignment and growth across these disciplines. You will stay informed of what's happening with our Cairo based engineering teams, and stay in close communication with US based PM team members. Lastly, as a member of the Project Management PM team you will have the opportunity to engage in discussions around technological innovation in Construction. This position reports into the Director of Product, Project Management and will be based in Cairo, Egypt.
 

What you’ll do:

• Manage and mentor a team of Product Managers 
• Synthesize customer feedback and market research, specifically around our product’s user experience, to inform and guide roadmap and priorities
• Ensure your team documents detailed scopes the work, capturing critical requirements and user stories in the form of Epics and Stories
• Collaborate daily with design and engineering teams to transform your team’s requirements into value for our customers in the product
• Partner with engineering to define and document clear delivery milestones
• Serve as a key partner to your US based Product Management counterparts. 
• Effectively use qualitative and quantitative data analysis to help inform the decision-making process

What we’re looking for:

• B.A. or B.S. 
• 5-10 years of experience managing teams of Product Managers and delivering successful SaaS products via a Product Management 
• Strong communication and presentation skills and demonstrated initiative to drive change and results in a professional setting
• Proven experience working across engineering and design to deliver new features and initiatives that drive meaningful impact for end users
• Passion for customer success and seeking a deep understanding of end-user problems as well as competitive and market trends in the construction space
• Experience coaching and mentoring teams to define user stories, structure requirements and specifications, and manage success metrics 
• Ability to work collaboratively across the organization with other product teams and stakeholders to collect feedback and influence
