Working base: Between Cairo office and Four Seasons Sharm El Sheikh Resort
SUMMARY:
The Director of Revenue Management is responsible for the interpretation of business analytics into tactical strategy.
They provide focused expertise that will guide and direct the hotel Revenue Strategy Team through effective and measurable revenue management initiatives.
They work closely with the Director of Marketing to implement and consistently execute optimal revenue strategy, enabling key strategic and operational decisions for the hotel.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Completed a university degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Hotel Management
EDUCATION: University Degree
EXPERIENCE:
2 – 3 years’ experience working in hotel revenue management or similar business analytics and strategy role. Managing Resort destination is a plus.
POSITION OUTLINE:
KEY ACTIVITIES OUTCOMES
Interpret business analytics into meaningful action to improve performance.
Business owner of all Revenue Management systems and tools, including, but not limited to, RMS, PMS, BI tools, Benchmark tools, Rate Shopping tools, Competitor Intelligence platforms.
Effectively manage inventory, pricing, rate parity, and positioning in all distribution channels, including Branded Web, 3rd Party Sites, Worldwide Reservation Office (WRO), and Global Distribution System (GDS).
Lead optimal pricing strategy analysis and recommendations for all room classes and market segments. Managing group blocks and guiding sales team with groups evaluation and pricing decisions
Ownership of OTA Market Manager relationship
Contribute guidance and recommendations for local merchandising strategies. Liaise regularly with hotel digital marketing and communications teams, agencies, and vendors on campaign management opportunities.
Create and submit hotel forecasts leveraging RMS. Monitor accuracy on weekly basis.
Lead weekly Revenue Strategy meetings separate from Forecast Meetings. Build consensus within Revenue Management Team to move new initiatives forward.
Assist Marketing and Finance leadership in annual budget, marketing plan and sales goal preparation.
