Job Description
Created and updated purchase orders using SAP.
• Summarized and analyzed vendor bids using spreadsheets.
• Negotiated contracts with suppliers by assessing all cost elements, terms and conditions, and delivery dates to determine the best bid and achieve best value for the organization.
• Ensured all vendor payments are done on time, by issuing the payment requests and monitoring the payment status with full coordination with other involved parties.
• Collaborated with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient supply chain operations and timely deliveries.
• Coordinated with internal stakeholders to identify purchasing needs and develop sourcing plans for a newly established manufacturing plant.
• Conducted supplier performance reviews annually on SAP.
