About the Role
As a Digital Production Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in the creation and post-production of high-quality video content for DigiSay. You will work closely with our content creators, producers, and other team members to bring our ideas to life through visually captivating videos. Your expertise in video editing techniques and software will be essential in producing compelling content that resonates with our target audience.
Responsibilities
Editing Efficiency
Collaborate with content creators, producers, and other team members to understand project objectives, requirements, and timelines. Review and select raw footage, ensuring the best quality visuals are used for video production. Edit raw footage into polished, cohesive videos that align with the brand's style and storytelling objectives.
Client satisfaction and high audience engagement with video
Enhance videos with creative transitions, effects, graphics, and sound design to elevate the overall production value. Attend shoots in locations at least one visit per shoot.
Develop video editing skills over time
Maintain a strong understanding of current industry trends and best practices in video editing techniques, staying up to date with the latest software advancements. Experiment with different editing styles and techniques to constantly innovate and improve the quality of our video content. Actively participate in brainstorming sessions, providing creative input and insights to enhance the storytelling process.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field. Experience: 1-3 years of hands-on experience in the Social Media and Podcasts field. Linguistic Skills: English - Arabic Computer Skills: Adobe Premiere Pro – Adobe After Effects - Final Cut Skills: Creativity – Attention to detail – Critical Thinking - Problem Solving - Flexibility A portfolio of previous video editing work that demonstrates your skills and creativity is needed.
Work Arrangements
Shifts: Two shifts (Morning-Night)
Shift Timing: Shifts run from 9 AM to 12 AM, Morning: 9 AM to 6 PM, Night: 3 PM to 12 AM
Days Off: 2 days per week
Working Hours: 8 hours per shift
Working Arrangement: Rotating shifts
Weekend Schedule: Rotating weekend schedule*
On-Site Work: Required based on business needs
