Job Description
The DevOps Engineer works closely with our engineering, operations, and product teams, and ensures our suite of servers and databases are operating smoothly.
Key responsibilities & duties:
- Establish monitoring tools to increase service reliability.
- Control deployment workflow
- Create and develop tools/scripts to automate builds and backups.
- Conduct regular on-call duties and address issues pertaining to operations.
- Participate in the design and architecture of standards and methods for large, scalable distributed systems.
- Engage in capacity planning and demand forecasting activities.
Qualifications:
- 0–3 years of infrastructure administration or programming experience
- Extensive experience of any of the major cloud providers: GCP, AWS and Azure
- Working familiarity with docker and Kubernetes
- Solid Understanding of deployment systems
- Experience scaling APIs and websites
- Professional level spoken and written English.
- Strong command of Git and Linux
- Experience scaling and deploying Elastic Search clusters.
- Experience with continuous integration systems
