Description
• Reading the contract.
• Following up the progress of the project(s) with the team.
• Review the engineering works of the subordinates
• Preparing of preliminarily base design drawings as Main SLD, R&M SLD, Interlock logic diagram, DC SLD, etc.
• Preparing base design calculations as DC package calculations, CT sizing, VT sizing, etc.
• Preparing Detailed design drawings for control and protection panels.
• Preparing the bill of material for control and protection panels.
• Preparing the tentative LV control cables BOQ
• Attending FATs.
• Participate in evaluation of subordinates below him
• Technical support at site (if needed.)
• Making site surveys.
• Attending meetings with the client, other departments and suppliers
• Provide technical support for the team
• Issue Manufacturing Release
• Finalize Purchase Request & Purchase order
• Coding
• Preparing log file
Qualifications
·
Education: B.Sc. of Electrical Power and Machine department
·
Years of Experience: 7-10 years of experience in control & Protection secondary design of HV substations.
·
Language: Fluent English & Arabic
·
Computer skills: MS office, Autocad, Microstation, ETAB, Panel Engineering software
