Octopus by RTG is hiring for a partner organization in UAE a Design Business Analyst on a remote setup for a 1 year contract.
A
Design Business Analyst bridges the gap between business needs and design solutions, ensuring that user experience (UX) and business goals align. Their key responsibilities include:
- Requirement Gathering & Analysis:
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs.
- Gather, document, and analyze functional and non-functional requirements.
User Research & Insights: - Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
- Work with UX/UI teams to analyze user behavior and pain points.
- Synthesize research findings to inform design decisions.
Process Mapping & Workflow Design: - Map out current user journeys and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with designers to create optimized workflows.
- Define and document business processes for digital solutions.
Wireframing & Prototyping Support: - Work alongside UX/UI designers to ensure business requirements are reflected in wireframes.
- Provide feedback on early-stage design prototypes from a business perspective.
Stakeholder Communication & Documentation: - Serve as a bridge between product owners, developers, and designers.
- Document design decisions, requirements, and user stories in clear formats.
- Ensure alignment between business goals and design execution.
Testing & Validation: - Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure design meets business needs.
- Gather feedback from stakeholders and end users to iterate on design solutions.
Collaboration with Product & Tech Teams: - Ensure designs are feasible within technical constraints.
- Work closely with product managers and development teams to track implementation.
RequirementsExperience: - 3+ years of experience in a business analysis, UX research, or product management role.
- Strong background in gathering requirements, user research, and process mapping.
- Experience working in Agile environments, collaborating with UX/UI designers, developers, and product teams.
Technical Skills & Tools: - Requirement Gathering & Documentation:
- Strong ability to analyze, document, and translate business needs into actionable insights.
- Experience with user stories, personas, journey mapping, and process modeling.
- Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, or other project management tools.
- User Research & Insights:
- Experience in market research, competitor analysis, and usability testing.
- Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, and A/B testing platforms.
- Wireframing & Prototyping:
- Basic understanding of wireframing and UI prototyping tools like Figma, Sketch, or Balsamiq.
- Testing & Validation:
- Hands-on experience with user acceptance testing (UAT) and feedback collection.
- Ability to work with QA teams to define test cases and validate requirements.
- Process & Workflow Design:
- Strong knowledge of workflow mapping, BPMN, and process optimization.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
- Ability to work as a liaison between business, design, and development teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
