Purpose of the job
The Site Manager is responsible for managing the activities on their site (Maintenance, Repairs, Renovation and Modernization) and to coordinate all site functions.
Responsibilities
Strategy
- Be consistent with Regional strategy and propose strategy for site
- Develop a consistent vision for all functions in the site
- In case of multiple projects, develop a consistent vision for all teams for its scope of responsibility
- Identify, Challenge site investments (CAPEX, training, facilities) & manage the site investment program
Operation
- Manage the PI Rolling Stock activities (Assembly, Retrofits, T&C, Corrective maintenance) of the site
- Manage the Services Rolling Stock activities (Development and execution of the maintenance plan via Preventive maintenance, Corrective maintenance & Overhauls, Establish asset condition and address gaps by amending the maintenance plan, Investigate any incident/breakdowns, establish causes and remedial actions) of the site
- Manage maintenance execution activities following the technical instructions, maintenance manuals and technical documentation provided by the manufacturer
- Ensure that all Alstom standards are implemented within all sites function
- Ensure that requirements in terms of Safety, EHS, Ethics & Compliances, special processes, Quality alerts, etc. are properly identified and applied and documented
- Ensure the overall capacity is managed at mid/long term to ensure contract execution
- Build plan to secure local new business (resources, means,...)
Performance & Efficiency
- Development, control and monitoring of the budget
- Monitor and manage performance targets against the penalty regime
- Set up organization to perform contract & its financial performance, QCD commitments
- Contribute to the project margin improvement
Continuous improvement
- Promote operational Continuous improvement & Innovative program
- Promote people training on the site the CI and relative action plan follow up
Management
- Animate teams
- Develop population skills to fulfill project industrial requirements
- Deliver the site QCD budget
- Ensure the Alstom value deployment
Educational Requirements
- Graduate Master background with 15 years’ experience in the Rolling Stock operation in railway industry
Desired Knowledge / Experience
- Experienced manager in either a Rolling Stock maintenance or production environment
- Good knowledge of different function tools and methods and techniques
- Good knowledge of implementing and managing Quality, Safety and Environmental systems + Ethics & Compliances
- IT literate ( Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Languages : Country language + English
