SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
Responsibilities:
Manage and lead the technical service function by coaching, monitoring, and supervising the daily activities of technical service and/or other internal and external stakeholders to ensure the achievement of objectives.
Maintain high-quality finishing by conducting on-site testing and issuing non-conformance at the site when necessary in order to ensure the application is according to Jotun Technical Specification.
Liaise closely with Sales by coordinating upcoming projects, manpower planning, customer requirements, product deliveries, and other matters to ensure the availability of resources in order to meet project deadlines.
Work closely with direct manager, sales personnel, and other internal departments (e.g., CSD, QC, Production, Warehouse, Finance, etc.) by coordinating product deliveries, project issues, and customers’ requirements for technical services in order to meet customers’ demand.
Provide timely and quality technical service to customers and projects, as and when required to ensure painting works are carried out in accordance with Jotun specifications, all the while attending to all relevant HSEQ regulations.
Provide professional technical advice, troubleshooting, and report writing as a record to customers pertaining to complaints, usage, application, and performance of Jotun’s products.
