Data Protection Engineer

Key Responsibility

• Responsible for complete Implement, maintain & Integrate, Data Protection Solutions

Install Data Protection products

• Configure DPS Solution as required by the Project

• Provide basic overview training

• Diagnose DPS problems

• Liaise between customer, VAS and partner support organizations

• Arrange opening and tracking of issues/problems

• Supply and install patches fixes and upgrades

• Investigate DPS software and hardware dependencies

• Install in conjunction with customers operational schedules and change management procedures

• Maintain issue tracking databases both external and internal

• Provide cover and support to other VAS operational areas as required

• Follow the VAS escalation procedure at all times

Implementation Data Protection Product

• Prepare plans for the projects that he is managing the implementation for, and make sure the project is going according to schedule.

• Liaise between the Customer project team and VAS project resources.

• Escalate any issues or resources unavailability to the Project Manager and the Data Protection Team Leader.

• Complete the Installation Acceptance Form (IAF), send to VAS project Manager.

• Additional Responsibilities

• Ensure skills kept current

• Update locally if possible

• Attend training courses as defined by SEMGR and Technical Director
