Data Modeler
Job Description
Assist in the design and development of conceptual, logical, and physical data models for various business applications. Work with data architects and senior data modelers to translate business requirements into data structures and models. Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements and understand data needs. Maintain and update data models as per the evolving business requirements and technology landscape. Participate in data model reviews and validation processes to ensure models meet organizational data governance and quality standards. Document data model definitions, relationships, and business rules. Contribute to data integration processes, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across systems. Assist in performance tuning and optimization of data models for query efficiency. Support the implementation of data management best practices, including data governance, security, and privacy policies. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and tools related to data modeling and database management.

Technical Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) and SQL scripting.
- Understanding of data modeling concepts (e.g., ER diagrams, normalization, dimensional modeling).
- Familiarity with data integration, ETL processes, and tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend) is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
