Data Intelligence Engineer

Role Overview:

The Junior Data Intelligence Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the Data Intelligence team by assisting in the collection, cleaning, analysis, and visualization of data. This entry-level position will contribute to the development of insightful reports and dashboards that empower data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical aptitude, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for working with data.

Responsibilities:

• Data Collection and Preparation:
  • Assist in the gathering of data from various sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Support the cleaning, transforming, and validating of data for analysis.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of data documentation and data dictionaries.
• Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Assist in conducting basic statistical analysis and identifying trends and patterns in data.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau - mention any specific tools your team uses).
  • Help in interpreting data and providing preliminary insights to senior team members.
• Collaboration and Support:
  • Work closely with senior analysts and other team members to understand data requirements and analytical needs.
  • Assist in responding to data-related inquiries from business stakeholders.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of data intelligence strategies.
• Learning and Development:
  • Actively seek opportunities to learn new data analysis techniques, tools, and industry best practices.
  • Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance technical and analytical skills.
  • Stay updated on relevant data governance policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Basic understanding of data analysis concepts and methodologies.
• Familiarity with spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel) and data manipulation.
• Strong knowledge of database concepts and SQL is required.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Power BI, including data modeling, report and dashboard development, and advanced DAX calculations, is required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work 1 effectively in a team environment.
