Customer Support Technician

With rapid growth comes opportunity. We are looking for a Customer Support Technician to join our team in Australia. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities:



Provides a high level of customer service by inputting and ensuring correct processing of customer orders, returns, and repairs submitted via various input methods. Processes invoice orders and prepares/sends email invoices to customers. Assists customers via phone, live chat and email with questions regarding products, pricing, and order details. Performs Preventative Maintenance and standard repairs for all Hygiena equipment lines. Follow processes in all business systems to track repairs until the process is fully complete. Manages and maintains the service inventory and documentation. Participates in process improvement efforts to build capacity, improve service, and improve quality on an as needed basis. Ensures compliance with and/or follows all organizational systems, programs, training, policies, and procedures as required and complies with relevant legal mandates. Seeks guidance as necessary. Actively supports and participates in the safety program, both for self-protection and the protection of other employees, by reading and abiding by all requirements in the Safety Manual and Injury Illness Prevention Program (IIPP). Carries out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical and professional manner. Must be able to fulfill essential job function in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner. Handles various other duties as delegated by the Operations Manager.

Qualifications:



Bachelor’s Degree in Science or a related field preferred Minimum of two (2) years of experience in customer support required that includes the following:+ Laboratory environment (food safety/quality highly desired) as a lab technician or higher
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat required.

Comfortable with interacting and working with all levels of customers, both internal and external; good interpersonal skills, team motivation and outgoing personality Excellent adaptability in a fast-paced environment with the flexibility and willingness to take on new tasks and projects Ability to speak and write clearly and accurately Ability to handle high volume calls Attention to detail and accuracy Effective listening skills Multi-tasking capabilities Must have in-depth analytical and problem-solving skills Must be able to use discretion and independent judgement
