The Data Steward will be responsible for managing account creation and modification requests from various stakeholders, including sales representatives, customers, order validation teams (Customer Care & Order Operations (CCOO)), Credit, finance and pricing teams. This role involves validating requests, checking for duplicates, and verifying information with key stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate account creation in SAP. In this role you will be reporting to the EMEA RLM (Regional Led Market) Order Solutions Lead.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Create and manage various account types in SAP, including Sold-To, Payer, Hierarchy Node, Ship-To, and Bill-To
- Govern the processes of account creation, updates, and deactivation, ensuring data quality and maintenance of account relationships
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of account creation, changes, and deactivation processes by all stakeholders
- Act as the decision-maker in case of escalations regarding account creation, changes, or deactivation
- Engage with functions, organizational units, and regions to continually improve and harmonize account maintenance processes and data quality
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Command on English and Arabic languages (both Written and Spoken). Command of the Urdu language (Written and Spoken) will be an advantage
- Experience in Master Data Management (MDM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
- Ability to work in dynamic working environment, self-manage time and prioritize workload
- A firm understanding of data, data flows, and processes
- Strong communication skills across different cultural backgrounds and diverse stakeholders
