More about the role


  • Coordinates and supports collections and queries activities between businesses and third party providers (who

executes a most collections).


  •  Organize, support and develop accounts receivable process
  •  Establishes, implements, and maintains an effective delinquency control and follow-up program for all customer

accounts that are late, delinquent, potentially delinquent, or written off


  •  Execute the collection process for defined strategic customers
  •  Perform remaining enabling Order to Cash activities (e.g. credit notes with open items)
  •  Organize, support and develop cash & collection process
  •  Follow up on relevant queries and solving escalations from sector
  •  Provides leadership and direction to departmental staff
  •  Responsible for compliance of ICS checks
  • This role is responsible for managing the credit risk of a diversified portfolio of accounts related to sales on credit
  • to customers.
  • This role focuses on continuous process improvements, performance management, forecasting results and
  • managing expectations of the Finance Business Partners we support
  •  Key responsibilities will be to carry out the objectives of the Global Credit Risk Policy as published by Corporate
  •  Determine credit limits, risk categories, and next review dates on accounts by leveraging the credit assessment

model and structured risk scoring approach


  •  Contribute to the maximization of sales within a framework of identifying, communicating, and mitigating and

managing high credit risk.


  •  Ensure that the Signify credit team is complying with the requirements of the Global Credit Risk Policy and ICS 12

and 275 requirements as well as the related Finance Directives and Golden Rules


  •  Meets or exceeds targeted credit analysis and reviews of customers, delinquency, dispute, and other quantitative

targets.


  •  Establishes, implements, and maintains an effective delinquency control and follow up program for all customer

accounts that are late, delinquent, potentially delinquent, or written off.


  •  Executes the credit risk process for defined customers (e.g. strategic customers).
  •  Performs remaining enabling credit risk activities (e.g. reviews of limits, risk, etc.).
  •  Follows up on relevant queries/disputes resolve escalations in close cooperation with the business.
  •  Authorizes blocking or releasing sales orders based on defined approval matrix.
  •  Responsible for compliance of ICS checks (internal control standards)and SoX

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance is preferred but not required
  • 5 years’ experience in Collection or Credit Risk Analytics or equivalent experience
  • SAP knowledge – ERP processes and procedures including internal controls a plus
  • Advanced PC skills with proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate and to collaborate across functions
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and under critical time
