Job Description
Core Responsibilitis
In agreement with MENILE Regional Technical and Regulatory Manager, ensure that registration processes are carried out correctly by the systematic revision of the products’ data submitted and the respect of the legislative deadlines, both for plant protection products and P&SS.
In agreement with MENILE Regional Technical and Regulatory Manager, prepare the registration dossiers by elaborating the required documentation in compliance with the national legislation and respective timelines, including OTP when relevant:
- Prepare, receive, revise, submit and follow up documents supporting the local registration of products for local portfolio (COR, Labels, Recommendation letters certificates, and any further documents according to local requirements).
- Submit on time the request for OTP including the relative documents (COO, Production Plant authorization and any further documents according to local requirements).
- Prepare, deliver and follow up the samples for OTP to the official research institutes.
- Follow up the registration trials with the agricultural centers, universities, trial stations and other relevant technical bodies.
- Ensure the creation of the product labels in close collaboration with the relevant Country and Sub-regional departments.
- Monthly report development of relevant regulations in the Country; monitor and report relevant information available in the public database of Ministry of Agriculture.
- Update the local BASF registration database.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain to secure availability of updated artworks according to production schedule.
Strategic tasks and duties:
- Maintain, in agreement with the MENILE Regional Technical and Regulatory Manager, relations with the experts in the administrative bodies, regulatory authorities, advisors, officials, Agricultural trial stations and other stakeholders following the professional code of conduct of FAO for plant protection products and BASF compliance guidelines.

Professional experience & Qualifications
- Education:

University Degree (agriculture or chemistry)
- Besides Arabic, English language is required.

- Proven experience in product registration and dossier preparation in Egypt.
- Understanding of the technical regulatory requirements and the regulatory processes in Egypt
- Excellent ability to maintain and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders as well as leadership, pro-activity and assertiveness skills
- Understand the basic agricultural practices for most relevant crops in the Country to effectively manage product labels
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural department / environment.
- Ability to work in a team; strategic approach to registration and technical issues.
- Knowledge of MS office, Windows, emails and collaboration tools.
- Experience with registration databases and electronic dossier processes
