NOK Human Capital is hiring " Cost Control Senior Engineer" for a very well-known multinational company specialized in fertilizers.

Job Purpose:
Perform turnarounds & projects cost breakdown structure, budget estimation and control, cost
tracking, look-ahead forecasting, and trend analysis, monitor commitments and variances Vs.
estimated budget according to the reporting metrics.
Job Responsibilities:
* Comply with cost control procedures and systems for TAR & projects.
* Monitor and control TAR & projects budget and expenditure to comply with financial plans.
* Analyze cost variances and trends, offering recommendations for corrective actions.
* Define Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and cost breakdown structure (CBS).
* Prepare regular reports on TAR & project financial status for management review.
* Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to forecast project costs, identify cost saving opportunities, and perform cost estimation tasks.
* Write a basis of estimate document that defines how the budget will be built. This document should include productivity estimates, sources of input, daily reporting needs, and information gathering needs (schedule updates, etc.).
* Review contracts, change orders, and invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness.
* Maintain precise records of project costs, capital spares, and documentation for audit purposes.
* Liaise with other groups to define shared cost allocation and labor hour definitions.
Job Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
* Experience: Typically, 7 years of relevant experience in cost control or a related field.
* Demonstrated experience in cost control, preferably in construction, engineering, or project management.
* Proficiency in relevant software tools such as Microsoft Excel, cost management software, and ERP systems.
* Attention to details and accuracy in financial reporting.
