Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Contractor Quality Control/Technical Office Manager to oversee quality assurance and technical office operations in construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality control and technical office management, with hands-on experience in the construction or contracting industry.

We offer a range of packages, including interior design visuals, design finishing, furniture, and decoration.

Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols for construction projects.


  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications.


  • Manage the technical office, including document control, technical submittals, and shop drawings.


  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, and engineers to resolve technical issues and discrepancies.


  • Oversee the preparation and review of project documentation, including quality assurance reports and compliance records.


  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to ensure project success.


  • Implement and maintain quality management systems in line with industry standards.


  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and industry best practices.


  • Lead technical reviews and provide feedback on architectural and engineering designs.


  • Prepare regular quality audit reports and present findings to senior management.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field from a reputable university.


  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a must.


  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in quality control and technical office management, preferably in the construction or contracting industry.


  • Previous positions: Quality Control Engineer, Technical Office Engineer, Site Engineer, or Project Coordinator.


  • Detail-oriented and proactive in addressing quality issues.


  • Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.


  • High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining project excellence.


Skills and Competencies:


  • Technical Skills:


    • Proficiency in quality management systems and standards.


    • Strong knowledge of architectural and construction drawings and documentation.


    • Excellent command of construction software (AutoCAD, Revit, BIM) and project management tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).


    • Familiarity with quality assurance methods and inspection techniques.


  • Project Management Skills:


    • Strong organizational and analytical skills.


    • Ability to develop and manage quality control plans and documentation.


    • Experience in leading technical teams and coordinating project activities.


  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills:


    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


    • Strong leadership and team collaboration abilities.


    • Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.


Working Conditions:


  • Working Hours:


    • Summer: 10 AM to 7 PM (including a 1-hour break)


    • Winter: 9 AM to 6 PM (including a 1-hour break)


  • Working Days: Saturday to Thursday


  • Days Off: Friday
