About the Role
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive
Content Agent - Restricted Products Configuration to take ownership of catalog system data configuration. In this role, you will manage and enforce the rules governing product listings, ensuring the product listing process is seamless for vendors while staying compliant with internal policies and regulatory guidelines. You will be responsible for maintaining repositories of attributes, field options, brands, keywords, and categories, playing a key role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our catalog system.
What you will be doing:
Act as the
central owner for catalog system data configuration and manage the infrastructure that supports product listings in PIM.
Create, maintain, and update rules that govern the listing of restricted products, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal guidelines.
Manage repositories of attributes, attribute field options, brands, keywords, and categories, ensuring that all data remains up-to-date, accurate, and in line with catalog objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content leaders, vendor managers, and compliance teams, to ensure product listings are well-regulated yet vendor-friendly. Continuously
monitor and optimize the listing experience, balancing ease of use for vendors with the need for compliance and control.
Required Qualifications:
Strong Excel skills for data management, reporting, and configuration tasks. Basic experience with
Python is appreciated for automating tasks or handling larger datasets. Experience in
data management and
system configuration related to content or catalog management. Familiarity with
catalog management systems and experience working with data repositories (brands, categories, keywords). Ability to analyze and balance competing priorities, such as compliance and user experience. Excellent
organizational and
communication skills to collaborate across teams and manage complex data sets. Experience working in
retail or e-commerce catalog management, especially in a data intensive role. . Familiarity with
catalog restrictions, including managing restricted products or categories. Understanding of regulatory guidelines around product listings in specific industries or markets.
What We’re Looking For:
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented professional who can maintain control of our catalog’s restricted product configuration while ensuring a smooth and efficient listing experience for our vendors. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of Excel, some familiarity with Python, and the ability to work cross-functionally to ensure compliance and efficiency.
