Consulting Engineer, SDWAN, SDA

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will lead customer-facing Engagements to design, implement, migrate, and optimize Cisco solutions. You’ll manage projects, gather customer requirements, and ensure solutions align with business and IT goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead on-site and remote technology sessions for design, implementation, and optimization.
• Collect requirements and deliver projects that meet critical business and IT objectives.
• Participate in pre-sales activities, translating business needs into solution designs.
• Develop and approve key project documents, including HLDs, LLDs, and change-management plans.
• Guide customers through technology transitions and influence solution architectures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and support Professional Services goals.

Minimum Requirements:

• Knowledge of Cisco Enterprise Networking solutions: SDWAN is a must.
• CCIE or equivalent knowledge
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Engineering, Support or Operations
• Strong customer-facing and communications skills
• Have Route/Switch knowledge with the following areas: Cisco Routing & Switching Platforms, Datacenter Switching Platforms, IP Routing, Internetworking, MPLS, LAN Switching, Multicast, Route Redistribution

Preferred Requirements

• Knowledge of SD-Access /Familiarity with features, examples include: MPLS (L2/L3 VPN/VRF-Lite) and MPLS-TE, BGP, ISIS, OSPF, EIGRP, inter-as, QoS, Ipv6, IP SLAs, RPVST+, MST, PIM, DMVPN, GETVPN, NetFlow, PfR and BGP-EVPN.
• Cisco Security products knowledge such as (ISE) is helpful.
• Good problem-solving skills with solid understanding of the end-to-end IT process, including architecture, design & engineering, implementation, and operations.
• Has some knowledge of software programmability, automation, orchestration and/or virtualization with strong Python scripting experience
