What You’ll Do

In this role, you will lead customer-facing Engagements to design, implement, migrate, and optimize Cisco solutions. You’ll manage projects, gather customer requirements, and ensure solutions align with business and IT goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead on-site and remote technology sessions for design, implementation, and optimization.
• Collect requirements and deliver projects that meet critical business and IT objectives.
• Participate in pre-sales activities, translating business needs into solution designs.
• Develop and approve key project documents, including HLDs, LLDs, and change-management plans.
• Guide customers through technology transitions and influence solution architectures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and support Professional Services goals.

Who You Are

You have a strong customer first mentality and experience as a Network Engineer, supporting Cisco technologies & products in large scale enterprise environments.

Minimum Requirements:

• CCIE or equivalent knowledge
• Very good knowledge on Enterprise Routing and Switching technologies.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Engineering, Support or Operations
• Solid understanding of ACI
• Strong customer-facing and communications skills

Preferred Requirements:

• Nexus 5K/7K/9K platforms product architecture knowledge and hands on experience including Fabric Path, OTV, VDC and VPC.
• Good knowledge on MPLS for Enterprise environments
• Good knowledge on NGFW and Application Delivery Controllers Solutions.
• Good problem-solving skills with solid understanding of the end-to-end IT process, including architecture, design & engineering, implementation, and operations.
• Has some knowledge of software programmability, automation, orchestration and/or virtualization with strong Python scripting experience

The Consulting Engineer will collaborate with strategic customers providing the best solution for these customers, working in conjunction with other internal teams and external partners. Main Responsibilities:

• Provide Planning, Designing, Implementation and Optimization services to Cisco Advanced Services Customers around Cisco’s Data Center
• Actively involved in the latest industry Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) deployments
• Establish trusted advisor relationship with customer management and teams on Data Center Infrastructure areas and future technology trends.
• Participates in or leads complex Data Center and Cloud infrastructure (network, storage and compute) design/implementation and migration, performance engineering or problem resolution projects.
• Solves complex, multi-functional issues that cross many technologies in network, server, storage, O/S, virtualization, consolidation, middleware, security, applications, operations, content switching, caching and/or content delivery networks, and security.
• Applies good analytic process to help bring any issue to resolution.
• Delivers migration plans, with a detailed understanding on networked applications and related dependencies.
• Ensure compliance to delivery methodology operational structure, roles & responsibilities.
• Track deliverables against the engagement schedule and support the PM track financial, resource and material requirements for the engagements.
• Guide other consultants and engineers, resolving challenges and ensuring customer success.
