Job Description

Hook Is Hiring For "Civil Technical Office Engineer" .
Job Descrebtion :
  • Review and analyze project designs, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Prepare and review technical submittals, method statements, and work procedures.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules using industry-standard software.
  • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project alignment.
  • Perform quantity takeoffs and cost estimations for tenders and ongoing projects.
  • Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and presentations for management and clients.
  • Identify potential technical issues and propose solutions to optimize project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical development of the team.
  • Participate in client meetings and site visits as required.Qualification:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering .
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Professional engineering license or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CCE) is a plus.
  • Intermediate in English (both written and verbal communication).
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.
  • Expertise in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillStrong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
