Job Description

Job Summary:


The Chief Marketing Officer oversees the company’s marketing department by providing guidance and leadership. Their duties include developing the marketing, branding, and communication strategies for the business, planning and managing the marketing budgets, overseeing the brand development and operations and acting as an ambassador for the company’s brand.


Role and Responsibilities


The position holder is responsible for:


Strategic Planning:


  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition, retention, and overall business growth.
  • Cascade marketing objectives based on annual strategic mandate.
  • Plan the annual marketing budget and oversee budget tracking and performance

Brand Management:


  • Develop a full branding strategy reflecting the company tone of voice, positioning, branding guidelines and look and Feel of the brand and communicating it with the relevant stakeholders.
  • Targeting audiences, segments and markets in order to identify market potentials and build brand loyalty.
  • Responsible for the brand look and feel consistency among all marketing collaterals and instore branding.
  • Ensure all designs and content adheres to brand standards.
  • Lead all internal branding of all the branches and offices.

Market Research:


  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, competitive landscape and market gaps, using insights to inform marketing strategies.

Campaign Management:


  • Plan integrated marketing campaigns across various channels.
  • Selecting appropriate marketing channels to promote the campaigns, including digital, print, and in-store promotions.
  • Develop and implement promotional strategies for new and existing products, driving sales and customer engagement.

Digital Marketing:


  • Develop digital marketing strategy and manage digital marketing efforts.
  • Oversee efficient digital marketing campaigns through SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media.
  • Manage websites and mobile apps content, UI/UX and oversee their development progress.
  • Develop the media buying strategy and advertisements placement through different channels.

Corporate Communication


  • Manage corporate branding and communication: content, positioning, corporate voice on all digital channels.

Events Management:


  • Plan customer, corporate and store opening events and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Plan CSR events and activation to build positive brand image.
  • Plan instore and out of store activations to promote the company’s brand and increase customer engagement.

Customer Engagement:


  • Enhance the customer experience through targeted marketing initiatives, loyalty programs, holistic CX and personalized communication.

Analytics:


  • Monitor and analyze marketing metrics to measure campaign effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.

Employer Branding:


  • In cooperation with the HR team, promote the internal employer branding initiatives and internal engagement plan.

Managerial Responsibilities:


  • Collaborating with internal departments to ensure campaign quality and consistent brand messaging.
  • Overseeing strategy execution and tracking the progress.
  • Leading and coaching the Marketing team.
